Kangaroo Rat

I just wanted to let you guys know what I saw on craigslist. I thought you might be interested.

They call the little guy a kangaroo rat.

Doesn't that look more like a Degu than a Kangaroo Rat? I'm certainly no expert on them, though... I've never even seen a live Kangaroo Rat! But I have seen degus.

He does resemble a degus, but then again, I've never seen a Kangaroo Rat.

Aren't they illegal to own (Kangaroo Rats)?
