Is there anyone in the Denton, Texas area with mice that need good homes?

Hun? Didn't you just say in another thread that you were "not in a very good financial situation"? Sweetie, if you are having a hard time affording the mice you have now, why do you want to add more?

I can afford caring for mice, but I not taking them to the vet for cosmetic reasons (clipping down their nails). Personally, I consider that an unnecessary expense, but that's just me.

If there are mice that really need homes, it's not hard for me to cut down spending elsewhere to accommodate them.

But I do see where your coming from, everyone wants their little ones to go to good, caring homes.

I see both sides of this. I currently have 4 mice and am looking to get more soon but I'm not in a very good financial position either. By that I mean I can't go buy a bunch of new clothes and I rarely eat out but I still buy my mice Carefresh ultra, lots of treats, toys, and they always go to the vet if needed. Those are considered necessities and are planned for. Now if I couldn't provide the standard of care for them that I see as the bare minimum I would definitely not get any more mice because the more you have the less you can give them. I feel this way about kids too. ;)

Bambi something my vet told me to do instead of trying to clip those tiny mouse nails is to put medium sandpaper in their house and let them wear it down themselves. I did this and it works great. Its not too rough and I only put it under their wheel so they can completely avoid it if they want to but they don't seem to be bothered by it at all. Did you find a breeder? I'm in Texas too and I want to get 2-4 more mice but I really want to avoid getting them from the pet store.
