Looking for--2 female mice.

I'm looking for two female mice. I'd like them to be young, as I'm hoping to introduce them to my young girlie.
I can adopt, or buy. :)

I don't know where you are, but keep an eye on your local craigslist if you're really looking to adopt. There have recently been 2 new small animal rescues open in my area, both have been advertised on CL. You can also try checking out goosemoose.com. When my mouse had an unexpected litter I actually re-homed a few through that site, even though their main focus is rats, not mice. Of course, most of my mice recently seem to have just followed me home from the pet store
Dogs: Ella and Kayla
Birds: Charlie and Milo
Mice: Holly, Ivy, Iris, Petal, and Cadbury (all Holly's little family); Poppy, Bud, and Blossom
Hamsters: Jack (RIP my Inna)

You can also check out our Breeder's listing:

Perhaps there is a breeder near you. :D Do keep in mind that well-bred mice sometimes take some finesse on your part to acquire. You may have to drive, or ship them, as good breeder's are far between each other. Many of us have driven thousands of miles to get out hands on healthy, happy, beautiful, tame mice from a responsible, reputable breeder.

Rescuing is *great*, but I do want to mention that a rescue mouse is just like any rescue animal. They will not have tracked lines, unknown age, and may have health and mental issues from a life of abuse or neglect. Getting a rescue mouse may mean work on your part to tame and heal them. I just wanted to warn you, so that you know that rescuing requires dedication and patience, which is why it is so full-filling. Some of my best and most precious babies have been rescues, and they can make magnificent pets, I just wanted to prepare you so that you knew what may happen if you go the rescue route. :)

Thank you guys for the replies! I suppose I forgot to add that I'm in London, Ontario. :P

Looking through the breeder's listing, I couldn't find anyone, really. :/ I was hoping there would be someone in the Southern part of Ontario....In between London and Toronto, anyways. Googling didn't really produce the results I wanted either!

And Norman's Mom, I am fully prepared to deal with any problems that may come from rescuing. If I can give an unwanted mousie (or pair of mousies!) a good home, well, that's what matters to me. :) I've had a good deal of "second hand" pets that have come with problems (thankfully no health problems, but it's only a matter of time) and though I've only had "second hand" rats, who were easily trained out of their old ways, I've also dealt with problem hamsters, and rabbits. ;) My dog, as well, was abused, and we've managed to help him be the best, friendliest dog you've ever seen!
I don't mind if I can't cuddle with the girlies I'm looking to adopt -- if they let me pick them up and pet them when it's important, than that's what matters! Mostly, I'm looking to give a good home to some mice and get some friends for my Caspian.
