Do you know of a mousie event? Feel free to post about it here! Also feel free to post what you are taking, what you took home, how much fun you had, etc! Anything mousie event related goes! This is a public viewable forum.
I *might* be interested in a fox...what color is the satin angora? What ped do they have? How long have the parents lived? Is there any health issues? Before I get another mouse, I want to know it will not get cancer and die before it is a year...my heart can only be broken so many times...
Be kind to everyone you meet for they are fighting the harder battle-Plato For every one you let into your heart it grows, and never shrinks, even when they pass. We feel them forever, but in a way our hearts are bigger for loving them...and for letting them love us.
The satin angoras are some lilac, some broken black. The satins are yellow, lilac, and broken lilac.... The pedigree is about five generations, I believe, and she hasn't had any major issues with this line. I am working heavily on my tans, so any foxes are going to be circumstancial...maybe one of these days...
Just an update! I am still working on a building for the meet, I was SUPPOSED TO GET calls back this week, BUT I guess I will have to play catchup with them. Everything is still go, incase anyone was wondering about my absense of posts Via this topic.

I am still doing research on a location...it seems most buildings are to rent and the minimum I would have to spend so far is $50... I know we will be coming up in a car with a nice air conditioner....is there any way we would feel comfortable meeting at a rest stop or park with a nice (free) gazebo and keep the cars air conditioned for the babies? I just want to make this simple for all and keep the money aspect down...let me know I am wracking my brain for inexpensive solutions....
If we split the $50 it wouldn't be bad. Plus leaving the cars running with the A/C will cost more anyhow. Does the place that is $50 allow pets? If we can find a nice gas station with a sit down area *inside* that might work. We would have to OK it with them first though.

That is exactely what is going on here...several places are free but don't allow animals, and there are a few that do but it is a pay situation. If we would all be willing to spilt I can make a reservation, I just didn't want to put that on everyone if they weren't going to be able to.
Its hard trying to find inexpensive ways anymore, lol. Im racking my brain, but still having came up with anything. I cant drive, which is part of the problem for me. My husband thinks its nuts to travel so far for mice, but he just doesnt understand
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. We no longer have internet at home, so I cant get on as often. Im about 60 miles north of St. Louis. Sadly I dont think I will be able to attend Im so heartbroken, I was looking forward to meeting other mouse lovers and bringing home a few mice.
Sadly, I also don't think I will be able to make it, as my car's transmission is almost gone and my hubby needs his for work. Maybe in the spring?? Also, we can save for a motel room- A/C and pets allowed!
